Terms of Service

Welcome to GetCollabs. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the GetCollabs website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using GetCollabs, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a binding contract to use GetCollabs. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all registration information you provide is accurate and current.

Platform overview

GetCollabs provides a marketplace that connects creators and brands for paid collaborations, brand deals, and campaigns. GetCollabs is not a party to agreements between users unless explicitly stated. We do not employ creators or brands and do not guarantee any specific outcome from using the Platform.

Account responsibilities

  • Keep your login credentials secure and notify us of unauthorized access
  • Maintain accurate profile information at all times
  • Use one account per individual or authorized business entity
  • Do not share, sell, or transfer your account to another person

Creator obligations

  • Deliver work as agreed in collaboration briefs and agreed timelines
  • Provide truthful audience, engagement, and performance information
  • Disclose sponsored content in compliance with FTC, ASA, and applicable local laws
  • Only promote products or services you have genuinely used or evaluated when required
  • Respond professionally to brand communications through the Platform

Brand obligations

  • Provide clear, accurate campaign briefs and deliverable requirements
  • Fund agreed payments through the Platform's payment system
  • Review deliverables fairly and within reasonable timeframes
  • Not request content that violates laws, platform policies, or creator rights
  • Respect creator intellectual property and agreed usage rights

Prohibited conduct

You may not use GetCollabs to:

  • Engage in fraud, impersonation, or misrepresentation
  • Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users
  • Post illegal, infringing, or harmful content
  • Circumvent Platform fees or conduct off-platform deals to avoid protections
  • Scrape, reverse engineer, or interfere with Platform operations
  • Create fake engagement, bot accounts, or misleading metrics

Payments and fees

Payments for collaborations are processed through GetCollabs' in-app wallet and escrow system. Platform fees, payout schedules, refund policies, and dispute processes are disclosed at the time of each transaction. You are solely responsible for any taxes owed on earnings received through the Platform.

Content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of content you create. By uploading content to GetCollabs, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and promote the Platform. Collaboration-specific usage rights between creators and brands are governed by their separate agreements within each deal.

Disputes between users

GetCollabs provides tools to help resolve disputes but is not obligated to mediate every conflict. Users are encouraged to resolve disagreements directly. We may review reports and take action including content removal, payment holds, or account suspension at our discretion.

Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our policies, or applicable law. You may delete your account at any time through app settings. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

Disclaimer of warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. See our full Disclaimer for more information.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetCollabs shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the greater of (a) fees you paid to GetCollabs in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars ($100).

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform or email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws in the jurisdiction where GetCollabs operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction unless otherwise required by mandatory local law.
